Our Team



George Pittman is the President and CEO of Real Living Pittman Properties and the President of Ammons Pittman Property Management.  In 1976, George co-founded the residential division, known then as Ammons Pittman Real Estate, along with Jud Ammons (Builder-Developer).  In 1987, he acquired a local company and began a property management division, known as Ammons Pittman Property Management. Today the company services approximately 500 rental properties and 30 home owner associations.

He has served as President of the Raleigh Board of Realtors as well as NCAR RPAC Chairman, NCAR Legislative Vice Chairman and is a Life Member of RPAC. He has been Realtor of the Year and in 2007, was named to the Raleigh Regional Association’s Hall of Fame.  George serves on the Advisory Board of North State Bank.  He and his wife , Lou Ann, work together in their Real Estate business.

Rod Hamby is the Vice President of Ammons Pittman Property Management.  A graduate of NC State University, he acquired his Real Estate Broker License in 1969.  For over 30 years, he has managed home owner associations and for more than 30 years, managed rental properties.

Rod has owned his own real estate company and served on the Raleigh Board of Realtors Grievance Committee and as Vice President of the Raleigh County Club.  He is an active member of the Community Associate Institute (CAS).

Geri Blackford is the HOA Administrative Assistant.  After attending Northern Kentucky University, Geri spent 10 years in Anaheim, California as a Human Resource Manager.  She relocated to Raleigh in 1995 and for twelve years managed a home owner association with 2400 members.  She joined Ammons Pittman Property Management in 2006.

Pat Hartman is the bookkeeper and has been with the company since the acquisition in 1987.  Her main duties are Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables.  She handles statements for owners and deposits and tracks all expenditures for the property management company.

Donna Saldo,  Corporate Administrative Assistant, relocated to Raleigh in 2003.  Prior to relocating here from New England, her work experiences included managing Home Owner Associations at a year-round resort, and directing the lodging department, including the landscape and building maintenance for the resort. 

Donna, an astute business owner, is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and a NC Notary Public, and is an asset to our Team.  She has previously worked as a Community Manager with another firm since moving here and has been with our firm over 7 years.  During this time, she has gained knowledge and experience with the development and operations of new home communities, including the transition to and management of Home Owners Associations.  Since 2008, she has served as a Board Officer and Committee Member on 2 separate Home Owner Association Boards
